Speaking Engagements
This work of writing, speaking, and teaching is now my life and livelihood. My great desire is to be available anytime and anywhere the Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Church can use me. If a priest, parish, school, or organization prayerfully determines that having me come to speak would be of spiritual value to their community, I want to be there. My heart lies especially with mission parishes and missionary efforts that typically can use help the most, but which have the fewest resources.
So when I am invited to speak,

If a priest, parish, school, or organization prayerfully determines that having me come to speak would be of spiritual value to their community, I want to be there. So when I am invited to speak,
(1) while I have a suggested honorarium, I am certainly willing to work with the parish or organization if finances are a problem.
(2) I do ask that my travel and accommodation expenses be covered. I drive to speaking engagements when it is more economical than flying. When I must fly, I happily travel on the cheapest airlines, in the cheapest seats. When it comes to accommodations, I don’t need fancy hotels. In fact, I am quite willing to stay in people’s homes, if that is helpful.
(2) I do ask that my travel and accommodation expenses be covered. I drive to speaking engagements when it is more economical than flying. (3) I reserve the recording rights to my talks.
(4) I request that I be permitted to sell my books and CDs after my presentations.
